On one of the teams from Word of Life engage on Thursday, one of the members felt that they were to encounter someone who was dealing with suicidal thoughts. The team went to an apartment complex, and found a lady with her daughter. After talking for a little bit, the team member said he was there because of one word – suicide. The lady then broke down into tears. They talked and prayed and the Lord ministered to her. Afterward she hugged the team member and told him that he saved her life. We know that it was Jesus who saved her life – but the point is that she was right at that place in her life and this encounter happened right when she needed it and it was Jesus saving her life.
