Have you desired to see God move and bring many people to Him in your city, your neighborhood,
the area your church is there to reach? It is possible!
The fact is every time the church goes to work and brings Jesus directly to the people it happens.
Why?
Because Jesus already told us to “Go”, and “I will be with you”.
We don’t have to wait for Him to tell us again.
When we go, Jesus goes with us and it happens.
Now He is waiting on us.
The last command Jesus told us was to go into all the world and spread the good news to
reach the lost, continuing with them until they are full followers of Jesus.
New believers are brought into the church family to grow from the other ministries of the church.
Reaching the lost is the thing that believers should be most skilled at, the main activity the church is involved in.
But many times evangelism is put in a corner, leaving it up to those who “have the gift”, not a main focus of the church.
What is the result?
Multitudes slip into Hell while the church as a whole stands by, waiting on God to send revival
when Jesus already told us to go and said He would be with us to do it.
Training makes the difference
Believers feel inadequate, feel like they can’t do it, deal with fear,
haven’t been taught how to engage with people and lead them to Jesus.
The answer?
The Church can provide training and support, schedule specific events where
believers come together and go out on teams to engage with people.
Believers are encouraged when doing it along with others. A multiplying effect takes place when
people enter into the work with one mind, focused on reaching the lost and discipling them.
Jesus is the same. He came to save the lost. Now He gave us the same
Holy Spirit that He ministered by and will work with us in reaching them.
How revive helps
Revive equips the church to be able to follow the command of Jesus to Go and make disciples. Through the tools people learn a simple and effective way of being able to engage people with love and share the good news, bringing new believers into the fellowship to be discipled. Churches are energized and the people revived as they give out the life of Jesus they have received. Nothing sets a person on fire for Jesus like going out and watching Jesus save people and touch lives. They develop a special love for the lost and the ones they have seen saved.
Come and join in – receive training and go out on teams with people who have done this before. That will make it easier than you think. Once you go out and watch Jesus change lives, you will never be the same! Your walk with the Lord will enter a new level and you will realize the purpose that God has for you here.
